The Department of Criminal Justice Training is pleased to announce the following job opportunity for, one (1) Justice Program Administrator position, within the Commissioner’s Office – Staff Services and Planning Section (requisition number 26-01801). What To Expect When You Apply

  • Interested applicants must apply individually to each job opening for which they wish to compete.
  • For consideration, applicants must complete a profile and application on the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet’s hiring website – MyPurpose.
  • Upon successful completion of the application, each applicant will be notified by the MyPurpose website that their application has been successfully submitted.
  • As an applicant, you will be assessed by the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet and DOCJT to determine suitability for the open position.
  • Selected candidates will be notified and offered an interview by DOCJT.
  • The hiring agency will then submit the top three applicants to the Division of Career Opportunities (DCO).
  • The DCO reviews selected candidates to determine if all state personnel requirements have been met.
  • DOCJT makes a job offer to the top candidate approved by the DCO.
  • Applicants not selected during the process will be notified through the MyPurpose portal.
  • Applicants not selected can reapply for any open position for which they qualify.
  • The hiring process must be completed within 90 days.
