Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed assistant coach for our Varsity Girls Basketball team for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.

Responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting age-appropriate practices that emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, and character development
- Teaching and reinforcing the values of respect, integrity, and responsibility aligned with KCD’s mission
- Collaborating with fellow coaches and the Athletic Department to ensure consistency and continuity across the basketball program
- Communicating effectively with student-athletes and families about expectations, schedules, and team progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for student-athletes
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching and/or playing experience in basketball is required
- Strong ability to teach fundamental skills and foster character development
- Passion for working with high school students and contributing to their overall well-being
- Must be available for practices after school and weekend games during the season
- Background check and CPR certification required prior to employment
