HR Generalist
The HR Generalist will support day-to-day human resources operations with a strong focus on manufacturing and warehouse employees. This role will be highly visible on the production floor and will work closely with operations and supervisors. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and confident handling employee relations, compliance, and HR administration in a fast-paced environment.

With a warehouse located in one of the largest cities in the US, our used bourbon barrels are ready to ship. We work with customers from the US, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere, providing high-quality barrels for distilling a variety of liquors and spirits.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $30 - $35 an hour
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for a team of 20-25 employees
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to support employee relations and engagement
- Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly production, warehouse, and other roles
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Assist with employee relations matters including attendance, performance, coaching, and disciplinary documentation
- Partner closely with safety organizer to support workplace safety initiatives and OSHA compliance
- Assist with incident documentation, training coordination, and safety-related employee communications
- Administer benefits, open enrollment, and employee communications
- Support timekeeping, employee records, and reporting using UKG Pro (training provided)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain personnel files, HR documentation, and policy acknowledgments
- Assist with maintaining and organizing supporting documentation for company certifications and audits, including ISO certifications, and support related compliance requirements

All successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience working with hourly employees and frontline supervisors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Working knowledge of employment laws, attendance policies, and disciplinary processes
- Comfort working closely with safety teams and supporting OSHA-related initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Experience with HRIS systems; UKG Pro experience preferred but not required
