Drywall Paint Repair Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assess and troubleshoot issues across multiple building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various surfaces such as drywall, stucco, tile, flooring, and paint to restore properties to optimal condition.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute repair plans and installations.
• Conduct construction estimating for repair projects by assessing materials, labor needs, and project scope.
• Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, trim carpentry elements, and hardware with precision.
• Execute water damage restoration tasks including mold remediation and moisture control measures.
• Carry out framing, metal stud framing, masonry work, plastering, caulking, and tile laying as required for renovation or repair projects.
• Utilize construction site experience to ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair activities.
• Operate specialized tools such as airless paint sprayers and schematics reading equipment for efficient project completion.
• Collaborate with team members to plan remodeling projects or restoration efforts that meet client specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task for project tracking and reporting purposes.

Skills

• Extensive construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to different repair scenarios.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate repairs and installations.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes to accurately assess project costs.
• Skilled in plastering, drywall installation & repair, trim carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, and stucco application.
• Experience with plumbing systems including fixture installation and basic plumbing repairs; knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with the restoration industry standards for mold remediation and water damage mitigation.
• Ability to perform construction painting using airless paint sprayers or traditional methods with attention to detail.
• Competence in metal stud framing and masonry work for structural repairs or renovations.
• Maintenance Person experience covering a broad range of repair tasks across different trades within residential or commercial settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members or clients during project execution.
