Job Responsibilities
- Providing top-quality RN nursing care in a post-acute setting, consistent with legal requirements, facility policies, and resident care plans
- Working in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, residents, and family members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administering medications, treatments, and other interventions to residents and documenting responses
- Drawing fluids as needed for lab work
- Prioritizing patient safety and promoting evidence-based best practices related to infection control and fall risk, among other areas
- Communicating with residents and family members, answering their questions and educating them on conditions, treatments, and healthcare options
- Ensuring complete and accurate documentation in medical records
- Assisting with the training and supervision of the wider nursing team
- Fostering a safe and inclusive work environment
- Additional duties and responsibilities assigned by leadership team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Ohio RN license
- Degree from an accredited registered nurse school (BSN preferred)
- Demonstrated work experience as an RN
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task in a healthcare environment
