Overview
In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and organized, to encourage customer satisfaction and repeat business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while working in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, answering questions with clear communication and positive attitude
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Stocking products, ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers
- Able to lift 40-50 pound boxes throughout the day. This includes squatting, twisting, kneeling, etc.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred; familiarity with retail math and basic math skills is required
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and customer service excellence is essential
- Strong communication skills combined with friendly phone etiquette to connect confidently with customers
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
