Full Time Teller

Join the Kentland Bank team as a Full-Time Teller at our Roselawn branch. This customer-facing position provides friendly, accurate banking service while assisting with everyday transactions, answering questions, and connecting customers with the resources they need. Kentland Bank is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Full-Time Teller to join our Roselawn team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for every customer by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient banking service.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling customer transactions, working with cash, learning banking products and services, and helping connect customers with the right resources when additional assistance is needed.

• Provide friendly, professional, and accurate service to customers.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, account payments, and other applicable banking transactions.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain established cash limits, and balance according to bank standards.
• Assist customers with questions about their accounts and banking services.
• Develop knowledge of Kentland Bank products and services to make appropriate referrals based on customer needs.
• Understand and properly process endorsements, stop payments, and account holds.
• Follow established security procedures to help protect customers and employees.
• Assist with ATM operations and follow applicable ATM procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
• Participate in employee training and ongoing professional development.
• Work collaboratively with team members across Kentland Bank.
• Follow all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.

Preferred:

• Previous cash-handling experience.
• Previous sales or customer-service experience.
• Previous experience in a banking or financial-services environment.

The job description specifically identifies a high school diploma or GED as required, with cash-handling or sales experience preferred.

This is a full-time position based at our Roselawn branch. Hours are generally during normal business hours and may occasionally include Saturday mornings or additional hours based on business needs. Teller
