Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time operations Supervisor to join our dispensary team.
The Supervisor plays a key role in supporting daily dispensary operations, coaching staff, ensuring compliance, and helping drive team performance and customer experience. Supervisors are expected to lead by example, promote accountability, and contribute to a positive workplace culture, while supporting the goals of the management team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily floor operations
- Provide real-time coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members
- Assist with customer service escalations, issue resolution, and conflict management
- Support sales initiatives, promotions, and overall team performance
- Execute opening, closing and operational procedures
- Monitor team performance, professionalism and adhere to expectations
- Maintain clear communication between staff and leadership
- Support inventory accuracy, operational integrity, and accountability standards
- Complete and document employee coaching conversations, records of discussion, corrective actions, performance recognition, and other employee documentation as directed by management
- Assist with training and development of new and existing team members
- Demonstrate the ability to make effective day-to-day operations decisions within established guidelines and escalate concerns appropriately when neccesary
- Serve as the acting leader on duty when assigned, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to company expectations
- Support additional operational initiatives and projects assigned by leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older, in accordance with Maryland State Law.
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working a cannabis dispensary
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to labeling accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends
- Customer Service and Point of Sale Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Maryland cannabis regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of cannabis brands and products in Maryland
Physical and Schedule Requirements
- Full-Time schedule 40 hours per week
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel and perform repetitive movements
