PRODUCTION CLERK

KENT® Precision Foods Group (KPFG), a member of KENT Worldwide™ is seeking a Production Clerk to support production operations for our Consumer Brands portfolio. This position provides administrative support for production to ensure efficient operations of the plant.
• This position is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, MS

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain TPU charts and reports.
• Update AX schedule with Master Schedule provided by production planner.
• Update Master Schedule with batch number information for FG and SFG orders.
• Approved planned orders for production planner to firm.
• Release batch orders
• Print Batch orders for picking
• Input location cleanup after each batch
• Review and close of every batch order off the production line.
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Adhere to all safety practices as set forth by OSHA.
• Adhere to the HACCP Food Defense plan.
• Adhere to the Good Manufacture practice as set in KPFG GMP Plan.
• Assist in production scheduling
• Responsible for Route card entry
• Assist in Forecast Scheduling

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• High School Diploma required
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in production administration preferred
• Experience with Microsoft AX, Microsoft Office, and other related systems required
