Summary
The Solutions Developer designs, configures, and builds software solutions to meet business needs. They deploy and maintain these solutions, provide support, and act as a technical liaison for business intelligence initiatives. They ensure data integrity, security, and resiliency, and create documentation to minimize business risk and ensure continuity.
Essential Functions
- Design, configure, and build software solutions to solve problems or fill gaps in existing functionality in alignment with business objectives.
- Deploy and maintain provided solutions, offering support for stakeholders and implementing improvements as needed.
- Act as a technical liaison between the business and outside resources on business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate IT to ensure data integrity, security, and source code and business data resiliency.
- Create and maintain documentation to minimize business risk and ensure continuity.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure software quality and performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new and existing solutions.
- Participate in project planning and management, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in software development and solution design.
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Python is preferred.
- Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement processes using AI.
- Ability to identify issues and utilize effective problem-solving skills to design solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with various parties
- Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to learn and improve new systems, processes, and procedures
