Position Summary
Kent Island Resort is seeking energetic and service-oriented Restaurant Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Servers are responsible for delivering prompt, professional, and attentive food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.
This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests throughout the dining experience
- Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
- Greet guests, present menus, and make food and beverage recommendations
- Accurately take and input orders into POS system
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
- Assist with opening and closing side work, including restocking and cleaning
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 if required for alcohol service)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays up to 25–30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
