Full Time - 7pm - 730am
POSITION IS BONUS ELIGIBLE
Primary Function: Responsible for rendering professional nursing services, either directly or indirectly, for a defined group of patients according to the hospitals philosophy of patient care.
Job Qualifications and Specifications: ICU Registered Nurses are expected to have:

I.V. certification.

The ability to recognize all significant cardiac arrhythmia.

A clear understanding of symptoms and clinical findings for myocardial infarction and its complications.

An understanding of the needs of the critically-ill medical and surgical patient.

A thorough knowledge of the psychological as well as the medical needs of the patient and the need to maintain an environment free from noise and anxiety.

Competence in the operation of all resuscitation equipment.

BLS
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support completion. New graduates will complete ACLS within one year of hire.

Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and basic for Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumping.

Attendance and completion of yearly competency fair.
