As a Human Resources Advisor, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for a wide variety of positions from entry level to upper management.
- Provide full-cycle recruitment services to an exceptionally varied group of County Departments including the Health Department, Courts, Sheriff’s Office, and Public Works Department, to name a few.
- Prepare recruitment marketing materials, including social media content, prepare and facilitate the interview process, and complete reference and background checks.
- Attend job fairs to recruit talent.
- Establish relationships with County hiring managers.
- Play a key role in attracting talent from various backgrounds to enhance our workforce.
- May support County Employee and Labor Relations including conducting investigations, drafting corrective action documents and letters of understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, Management, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Proven ability to manage the entire recruitment process independently, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Strong understanding of a variety of recruitment methods, talent sourcing strategies, and workforce outreach approaches.
- Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA; Title VII; the Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act; and the Bullard-Plawecki Right to Know Act.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and department stakeholders.
