Compensation: $17.24 - $22.86. The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials).

Additional Compensation: 10% premium pay, $2 2nd shift differential on Friday, $4 shift differential when working Saturday and Sunday

We are seeking a part-time Crisis Center Administrative Assistant. As part of a multidisciplinary team-based service, this role will perform a variety of duties to provide administrative and staff support, which requires a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.


Network 180’s Behavioral Health Crisis Center is a 24/7 facility that serves adults 18 years and older and includes a walk-in Brief Intervention Clinic and a secure Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The setting provides assessment and unscheduled clinical services designed to prevent or resolve mental health or substance-related crises. The Crisis Center provides these services to individuals whose crisis will typically resolve within a few hours, however, may require up to seventy-two (72) hours of treatment; and where services can be voluntary or involuntary.

The CSU fills a key gap in the Kent County Crisis Continuum of Care and provides more efficient, effective, equitable crisis behavioral health care in a setting designed and staffed to provide this type of treatment.

The CSU also diverts individuals from jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings to an appropriate least restrictive treatment setting whenever it can be achieved safely and successfully.

This position is part-time, 30 hours a week, working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 12:00am. This assignment is in-person at 260 Jefferson Ave SE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience providing clerical or administrative support, and/or customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Type 45 words per minute, accurately and consistently.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
