PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Journey Mapping & Analysis: Develop and refine a detailed shopper journey map across the litter category
- Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct store visits and leverage market data to identify growth opportunities and make recommendations to address them.
- Consumer Insights identification and Idea Generation: leverage consumer research, social listening tools, etc, to identify patterns, insights, needs, and lead creation of ideas (Product, claims, messaging, etc) to address them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales and corporate market research teams to ensure an integrated recommendation
- Strategic Recommendations: Synthesize complex findings into a compelling story
- Market Monitoring: Understand the competition and how it relates to the shopper journey and our unique brand position in the category
- Deliver recommendations across innovation, packaging, claims, messaging, digital content and retailer execution
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and brand management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Passion for pets is a plus!
