Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be adept at finishing surfaces to ensure high-quality results. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that all concrete surfaces are finished to specifications.
Duties
- Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, including setting forms and ensuring proper alignment.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and equipment.
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing and leveling with various tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
- Apply sealers and curing compounds as necessary to protect finished surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform quality checks on finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as needed.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Form Concrete
- Prep Concrete
- Metal stud framing practices
- Concrete forming methods
- Hardscape installation skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction processes
- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction
- Plaster application methods
