Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all employees and visitors. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing.
- Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all spaces are clean and welcoming.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Implement safety protocols while performing cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services isn't required.
- Skills in residential painting and facilities maintenance are a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including buffing floors.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects as required for cleaning tasks.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
