GENERAL SUMMARY 

The Delivery Driver position is responsible for loading, delivering, and unloading finished product in the most efficient, safe, and accurate manner as possible. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for accurate loading and delivery of all orders. 
• Verify quality of all products prior to receipt by customer. 
• Assume responsibility for all packing slips, including the accuracy of data contained therein. 
• Responsible for recognizing problems during delivery and for informing the proper parties when such arise. 
• Ensure that truck is kept clean and properly maintained. 
• Maintain records of truck maintenance as required by DOT standards. 
• Work to ensure that we are reaching our goal of 100% customer satisfaction. 
• Coordinate efforts with the production staff and the accounting staff. 
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required. 
• Utility Driver will be OSHA 10 certified 
• CDL License required 

SPECIFIC DUTIES 

• Assist in development of DOT and KGa driving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
• Create and maintain a customer delivery logbook. 
• Assist and advise during the institution of additional routes and/or vehicles. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, use hands to finger handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• The employee exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
• Vision requirements include clarity of vision at 20 inches or less; clarity of vision at 20 feet or more; and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Work is performed in a shop or construction environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions and vibration. There is occasional exposure to humid and extreme non-weather related cold or hot conditions. There is frequent exposure to constant very loud sounds sufficient to cause distraction.
• This position requires the ability to drive a large delivery vehicle and frequent local travel to client sites and occasional out of town travel.
