The primary role of the Guest Services Coordinator is to recruit, equip, and care for the volunteer teams of the campus community. This position exists to create a sense of well-being and joy across our volunteer teams, and to fill our lobby with energy and clarity towards next steps. Communication internally to the campus team and across KC will be imperative to the success of this role.

Qualifications
- Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience – Minimum 3 years of or more leading teams and managing projects in a local church or para-church organization; work in a complex environment helpful. Proven ability to recruit, develop, and oversee leaders. Has demonstrated a strong ability to cast vision, develop and implement plans, procedures and projects, resolve conflict, manage and report data. A strong communicator. Natural ability to network across the organization while promoting a sense of goodwill and well-being.

Responsibilities
- Campus Guest Service Team Champion: Champion the value of volunteers for the campus. Recruit for, support, encourage, manage and communicate with the campus volunteer team leaders and volunteers (i.e. HUB, Coffee, Usher/Greeter, Communion, Green Room/Hospitality, Prayer, Security & Medical Teams). This role is responsible for the overall needs and care of all teams listed. This includes but is not limited to maintaining schedules, supplies, upkeep of volunteer areas at the building. The Guest Service Coordinator will be the main source of communication between the volunteer teams and the plans and activities of the campus. Maintain a strong Sunday and holiday presence to trouble-shoot, affirm leaders and volunteers, recruit new volunteers and help execute the weekend and holiday services.
- Community-building Coordinator: Identify and recruit teams to execute Campus community-building activities and events. Examples of Sunday events that you will support may include Superbowl Sunday, Ministry Launch, Volunteer Recruitment weekends, Baptism Sundays, Move Out Initiatives and collections. Examples of non-Sunday events may include Worship nights, Celebration Dinners, Volunteer Celebration Events, etc. Implement communication plans and coordination efforts with centralized KC ministries ie, Global, Communications, Arts, etc.
- Lobby Coordinator: Maintain ongoing communication with directors of ministries such as KKids, Students, Discipleship, Care, Global, etc. Coordinate the lobby tables, representation and materials for Lobby each weekend.
- Contribute to campus strategic planning and decision making. Participate in weekly Together Tuesday meetings, biweekly campus team meetings, and monthly all staff meetings
- Own the lobby—decorations, furniture placement, music, games and overall environment. This includes holiday decoration (paired with the Operations Director). This also includes lobby supplies (pens, Kleenex, Our Daily Bread, etc.)
