Job Title: Field Service Technician – CNC Machinery
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Compensation: Up to $85k - $100k overtime
We’re looking for a skilled, solutions-driven Field Service Technician to join our client's team in Milwaukee. In this pivotal role, you won’t just repair machines; you’ll empower manufacturers by ensuring their CNC technology operates at its highest level. From installation to diagnostics, you’ll be the face of their service excellence, bringing technical precision and a passion for problem-solving directly to their customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a trusted expert by diagnosing and resolving technical issues on CNC machine tools with speed and precision.
- Lead machine installations and tooling setups, ensuring optimal performance from day one.
- Deliver scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs with a focus on quality, safety, and minimal downtime.
- Guide and train both customers and internal teams on equipment best practices, building confidence and trust.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of service calls, using our service software platform.
- Communicate proactively with customers, providing status updates, clear instructions, and follow-up support.
- Collaborate across teams to improve service processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Protect and maintain company tools, equipment, and resources with care and accountability.
- Stay ahead of the curve with ongoing training, certifications, and independent study to grow your technical edge.
What You Bring:
- Associate degree or relevant certification in CNC machine tool technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing and repairing CNC equipment.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; a personal vehicle may be required until a company vehicle is assigned.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to represent the company professionally.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly with internal and external teams.
- Flexibility to travel, including international assignments, and work outside regular hours when needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and major credit card for travel-related expenses.
