Calibration Technician
Field-Based | Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Calibration Technician to join a growing technical team, working with customers across a wide range of industrial environments.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and getting stuck into different types of equipment. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload while becoming a key technical contact for customers and colleagues.
What you’ll be doing
- Calibrating, servicing and troubleshooting industrial weighing equipment.
- Working on everything from bench and floor scales to tank, hopper and heavy-capacity truck scales.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs.
- Installing and commissioning weighing systems.
- Diagnosing complex technical faults and finding practical solutions.
- Completing accurate calibration certificates and service documentation.
- Working to ISO/IEC 17025 and NIST Handbook 44 standards.
- Supporting customers with technical issues and building strong working relationships.
- Providing guidance and support to junior technicians.
- Managing your own daily field schedule and assignments.
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- 3–5 years’ experience working with industrial weighing, calibration, measurement systems or a similar technical discipline.
- Strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with calibration and preventative maintenance.
- A good understanding of quality and measurement standards.
- The ability to work confidently without constant supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A strong safety mindset.
- A valid CDL with no manual transmission restriction and a good driving record.
- Relevant technical qualifications or trade certification are a plus.
