As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work hand-in-hand with our teaching staff to create joyful experiences and support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to help little learners grow with confidence and curiosity.

What You’ll Do:

• Foster a safe, nurturing space where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged

• Assist with daily routines and individual care in a patient and respectful manner

• Help plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities that spark creativity and learning

• Support diapering, toilet training, and restroom routines with kindness and professionalism

• Assist in preparing and serving snacks and meals

• Supervise and engage with children during special events and field trips

• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development

• Must be at least 18 years old (16-17 years old permitted with completion of DPI course)

• Must meet Wisconsin state licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher (minimum certification)

• Ability to provide proof of current CPR and First Aid certification

• Previous experience working with children

• Willingness to learn and follow state child care licensing regulations and procedures for Group Day Care Centers

• Ability to work cooperatively with children, parents, staff, and community organizations

• Demonstrated joy and satisfaction in working with children

• Ability to work effectively under general supervision
