Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening Daycare Cleaner to clean and sanitize a childcare facility after business hours. This position is strictly janitorial—there are no childcare responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is reliable, works well independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services every shift.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Sweep and mop hard floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust furniture, shelves, and surfaces
- Restock paper products and cleaning supplies
- Clean windows, glass doors, and touchpoints as needed
- Lock doors and secure the building before leaving
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or supply shortages
- Follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to pass a background check
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Authorized to work in the United States
