Kenny Ross Ford South in Castle Shannon, PA is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Parts Advisor to join our growing team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and technicians, providing exceptional service by ensuring the timely availability of parts for repairs and vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Parts Ordering & Inventory Management: Assist in managing parts inventory, ensuring the availability of parts for service departments and customer orders.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, advising them on parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Order Fulfillment: Process parts orders and prepare them for delivery or pick-up. Assist with parts returns when necessary.
- Collaboration with Technicians: Work closely with service technicians to provide the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts orders, sales, and inventory.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service through prompt communication and by providing the best possible solutions to their parts needs.
- Learning and Growth: Stay informed about product offerings, vehicles, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; automotive-related coursework or experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate inventory management software (training provided).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of parts.
- Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in an automotive parts department or dealership setting is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of Ford parts and vehicles is a bonus.
