Role Description The Pediatric Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sikeston, MO. This role is responsible for evaluating children with diverse developmental and physical needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing direct therapy sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with families and caregivers on home programs, and working closely with an interdisciplinary team of therapists and other professionals. The Pediatric Physical Therapist will also participate in care planning, communicate regularly with physicians and other referral sources, and contribute to educational and community outreach activities that support the Center’s mission.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and adjust treatment plans based on functional goals.
- Specialized skills in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Pediatrics, including experience working with children with developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions.
- Knowledge of Medicine as it relates to pediatric diagnoses, contraindications, and safety guidelines in a clinical therapy setting.
- Current physical therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Missouri.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree; pediatric-focused coursework or certifications are preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills in a busy outpatient environment.
- Commitment to inclusive, family-centered care and willingness to support the Center’s mission of providing services regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
