Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Controller based in Indianapolis, IN. The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing financial trends, providing recommendations for financial improvements, and managing accounting processes. The Financial Controller will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organization, offering strategic financial guidance, and leading relevant finance-related initiatives. Compensation is commensurate with experience. KennMar offers health insurance and 401K match.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation, Financial Reporting, and familiarity with accounting standards and practices
• Strong Analytical Skills and Finance expertise to drive data-informed financial decision-making
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting practices and principles
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools, including Yardi
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in commercial real estate or related industries is a plus
