What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust Counsel position at Kennison & Associates?
An exceptional opportunity is available with a renowned wealth management firm for a seasoned Trusts & Estates Attorney to serve as a trusted legal resource to a sophisticated fiduciary team and high-net-worth clients.
This highly visible role will advise on fiduciary law, trust administration, estate and tax planning, estate administration, and complex trust matters while partnering closely with clients, their advisors, and outside counsel. The position will also contribute to new business development, thought leadership, and internal training.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of combined trusts and estates and/or in-house fiduciary counsel experience, including at least three years working with high- or ultra-high-net-worth clients. Deep knowledge of trust and estate planning, administration, complex tax planning, and directed or delegated trusteeship structures is essential. Strong judgment, communication skills, business development experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with sophisticated clients and advisors are highly valued. Active membership in a U.S. State Bar and a JD are required.
This is a hybrid role that can be based out of the Boston, MA or Manchester, NH office. The salary range is $200K-$240K and includes a fully comprehensive benefits package.
