Support Coordinator
Kenney Consulting | Indianapolis and Surrounding Counties | Pay: $22.00-26.50 per hour, based on experience | Job Type: Full-time
Kenney Consulting is seeking a compassionate, organized, and relationship‑driven Support Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will collaborate closely with families, Home and Community Support Professionals (HCSPs), case managers, and leadership to ensure services are effective, compliant, and aligned with each individual’s goals.
This role is perfect for someone who excels at communication, maintains meticulous documentation, and loves building relationships within the community.
This is an on‑site, community‑based role, including home-based administrative time. Only candidates living within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- OR a High School Diploma with at least 5 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems and documentation platforms; experience with the Indiana BDS portal is a major plus.
- Local Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to meetings within Kenney Consulting’s service range.

Key Responsibilities:
Communicate, Coordinate, and Collaborate:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals, their families and their case managers.
- Actively participate in quarterly Individualized Support Team (IST) meetings.
- Coordinate "meet-and-greets" for individuals and HCSPs in the Greater Indy area.
- Connect individuals with community resources.
Drive Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure all quarterly reports are submitted to the Bureau of Disability Services (BDS) portal by the 10th of every month.
- Manage service satisfaction.
- Develop strong working relationships with team members to enhance retention.
Assist with Training:
- Maintain tracking systems for quarterly meetings, HCSP availability, Behavior Support Plan (BSP) training, PCISP training and compliance, and ensure compliance with on-site service documentation requirements.
- Share resources with team members to facilitate exceptional service delivery.
Network:
- Initiate and grow relationships with case managers and local organizations to expand available resources for individuals and their families.
