Kennett Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dependable and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys working with people, and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient handling and basic nursing care
- Perform kennel cleaning and general clinic cleaning
- Support veterinarians and technicians during appointments
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Learn and progress to assisting with surgical preparation and anesthetic monitoring
Qualifications:
- Must love animals and working with people
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous animal or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
