Parts Driver/Warehouse Associate

About the Role:

The Parts Warehouse Associate & Driver play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of aftermarket parts and equipment to customers and service departments within the retail trade industry. This position is essential for maintaining smooth operations by supporting sales through efficient warehouse maintenance and parts distribution. The Parts Warehouse Associate & Driver will interact with customers and internal teams, providing exceptional service while adhering to safety and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of parts inventory, delivery logistics, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to meet customer expectations. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for operating light trucks.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Experience with parts delivery or a similar role in retail trade or automotive aftermarket parts.
• Basic knowledge of aftermarket parts and service shop operations.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts regularly.
• Must have full mobility to move around facilities unassisted and use necessary tools to perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver aftermarket parts and equipment to customers and service departments promptly and accurately using light trucks.
• Understand and follow detailed delivery instructions to ensure correct parts reach the intended recipients.
• Coordinate with parts counter staff and sales teams to manage orders and resolve any delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

The Parts Warehouse Associates/Driver uses their ability to understand and follow instructions daily to ensure accurate and timely deliveries, which is critical for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Knowledge of aftermarket parts and light truck operation allows the driver to handle parts carefully and navigate delivery routes effectively. Skills in communication and coordination with internal team as well as wholesale customers enable smooth order processing and problem resolution.
