Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles and equipment, including tractor-trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality service. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, along with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform tire services.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in tractor-trailers and other vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
• Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Suspend or dig as necessary for repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in working with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with tractor-trailer maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in vehicles.
• Ability to transmit technical information clearly to team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
