What are the responsibilities and job description for the Closing Coordinator position at Kennedy Lewis Land and Residential Advisors?
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage a high volume of real estate (residential) lot closings with a focus on keen attention to detail, delivering exceptional customer service and proactive communication to both internal team members and external clients throughout the closing process.
- Diligently review and approve lot closing packages for completeness, compliance and accuracy. Identify and resolve any issues. This includes Deeds, HUD-1/Settlement Statements, title commitments/proforma policies, legal documents, various title affidavits, tax documentation, and wiring instructions.
- Assemble, prepare and organize closing packages for distribution and execution, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and closing dates.
- Liaise with external third parties to effectively and timely coordinate real estate closings. This includes working with title companies and closing attorneys on lot closing scheduling, document delivery, and final sign-off/ approval.
- Collect, review, organize, and file all executed closing documents promptly after each transaction.
- Utilize and update transaction tracking software efficiently to manage assets.
- Coordinate and maintain internal checklists regarding closed transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, including retrieving transaction records, lien searches, and good standings.
- Assist in updating form documents
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and management to resolve issues and provide administrative support for operational needs.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4-year college degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of real estate closing, loan closing or post-closing experience.
- Proven proficiency in managing a high transaction volume and document tracking and processing with accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
- Must be tech-savvy and able to learn transaction tracking software and databases.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- PA Notary appointment is a plus but not required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
