What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygienist position at Kennedy Dental?
We are seeking a part-time dental hygienist on Thursdays at our North Portland Dental office, Kennedy Dental! There's potential to expand into 3-4 days in the future.

Our office has two accomplished doctors. Dr. Kennedy has achieved a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (top 2% of practicing general dentists) and is a Graduate of the prestigious Kois Center for Advanced Dental Education in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Fanger is currently working toward completing his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by only 6% of general dentists. Dr. Fanger is also an active member of the American Dental Association, and plans to complete the Kois Curriculum like Dr. Kennedy.
Job details include: providing prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and scaling and root planing services using Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) (will be trained on use), identify and recommend appropriate care plans for perio-inflammation patients, acquire images (intraoral xrays, intraoral photos, CBCT/pano), periocharting, performing medical history review, providing homecare instructions, assisting with treatment planning, as well as other general back-office tasks, which may include sterilization, room turn-over and set up, and cross-training for other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Valid Dental Hygiene license nitrous. Eaglesoft experience preferred. **New graduates encouraged to apply**
