Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy.
Skills
- Experience in minor oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy) and dental fabrication is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management.
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is preferred.
