Carpenter — Site Work
Kennebec Timber Framing | Based in Albion, Maine
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience and capabilities
Kennebec Timber Framing is hiring a lead carpenter for site work. We’re looking for someone who can take responsibility for carpentry tasks, stay organized, and work effectively on their own or with a helper.
What you’ll do
- Perform framing, sheathing, and general site carpentry
- Install windows, doors, and trim
- install insulated panels
- Read plans, check dimensions, and work through routine field issues
- Plan daily tasks and guide a helper when assigned
- Keep work accurate, safe, and organized
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in residential framing and trim carpentry
- Ability to work independently and keep work moving
- Experience directing a helper
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Dependability, clear communication, and a good attitude toward coworkers and clients
