CNC Operator II -1st Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.
- Maintain machine performance and ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement eƯorts to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance eƯiciency.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures in a clean, organized work environment.
- 2 years of CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or grinding).
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Experience with quality inspection tools and verifying tight tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to 4-axis or 5-axis machining environments.
- Basic understanding of G-code or CNC programming.
- Experience with Penta, Haas, Combi or similar platforms.
- Background in precision manufacturing industries (aerospace, medical device, defense, etc.).
