Grill Line Cook

Iron Skillet Restaurant, located inside Kenly 95 Petro Travel Center, is hiring experienced and motivated Line Cooks to join our high-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen.

If you have experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, Grill Cook, or Prep Cook and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we offer steady hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement.

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and portion standards
• Work assigned stations such as grill, sauté, breakfast, or prep
• Execute orders accurately in a high-volume restaurant kitchen
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service
• Assist with prep work, inventory awareness, and restocking supplies
• Comply with all health department and company safety regulations

• 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Kitchen Cook, or Restaurant Cook
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Experience in a high-volume or full-service restaurant preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
