Guest Services Supervisor Job Description - Kenl Inn – Full-Time Position
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising customer service agents, reservation sales, retail inventory, processing invoices & payments, financial end-of-day closing procedures and administrative duties in support of these functions for the Company. Additionally, they are responsible for supervising and ensuring the maintenance and cleaning of the reception/retail area/public areas. Reports to the General Manager.
Primary Duties
- Customer Service
- Our priority is servicing the clients by greeting everyone who enters and helping.
- Telephone calls by CSR’s and Reservations should be processed daily to new and existing clients as a follow-up to monitor satisfaction.
- Managing Staff
- Monitor reservations & invoice processing to ensure procedures are properly followed.
- Monitor contractual paperwork processing & expired.
- Monitor monthly customer service agents.
- Training Receptionist/Cashiers
- Train inexperienced staff in accordance with training checklists, i.e. Dog Gurus, Fear Free etc.
- Ensure regular checks on work conducted to ensure consistency.
- Retail Inventory
- Assist clients in sale of retail inventory.
Other Job Duties
- Management Projects
- Create member renewal emails and ensure member listing & point of sale software are properly updated.
- Administrative
- Prepare cash and check bank deposits for management.
- Check email throughout day, return messages within 24 hours of receipt and monitor that info email account is also managed timely.
- Manage credit card on file process to ensure signature forms are maintained for all clients and cards have not expired.
- Other:
- Cleaning tasks as outlined and performed daily
Minimum Experience, Skills, Certifications or Academic Background Required
- High school graduate, college preferred
- 2 – 4 years’ experience providing client service and processing payments
- 2 - 3 years' experience supervising / managing a team for 6 associates or more
- Good financial acumen necessary
- Excellent written, oral communication skills and key player
- Good mathematical and selling skills
Hourly Rate – depends on experience - $19.00 - $22.00 an hour, plus department tips.
