What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Development Manager position at Kenilworth Creations?
Senior Product Development Manager, Key Accounts
We’re looking for a senior product development manager who can work directly with several of our growing accounts and bring both creative and commercial strength to the table. This role blends product development, account management, and customer-facing communication. You’ll partner closely with our design team while also taking the lead on presenting ideas, answering questions, and keeping projects moving.
What You’ll Do
- Develop product concepts for key accounts, including younger trend-driven brands and more elevated, demi-fine inspired partners.
- Lead the day-to-day relationship with these customers, acting as the primary creative and product contact.
- Present product ideas, collections, and development updates in customer meetings.
- Manage timelines, approvals, and follow-ups to keep all projects organized and on track.
- Work comfortably with our internal design, costing, and production teams to translate customer needs into clear briefs.
- Review samples, materials, and components to ensure they meet each customer’s brand standard.
- Provide guidance to newer members of our team who are still learning the expectations of major US retailers.
- Bring a clear point of view on trends, quality, and what makes sense for each account.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in product development or design within fashion jewelry.
- Experience working with major US specialty retailers; familiarity with their timelines, processes, and expectations.
- Someone who can step in quickly with minimal onboarding and understands how this industry works.
- A strong communicator who is confident in meetings and can speak clearly with buyers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
- A creative thinker who also understands cost, margin, and commercial viability.
- Comfortable acting as both a product partner and a client-facing representative.
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple development calendars at once.
Why This Role Matters
Our company is growing with new accounts that value direct communication with creatives. This role strengthens that bridge while bringing experience and stability to our internal team. It’s a chance for someone who understands the industry to step into a senior, visible position and shape key customer relationships.
