What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Kenichi Snowmass?
Kenichi Snowmass is hiring an experienced chef who can work closely with our head chef.
Kenichi Snowmass is a locally owned fine dining Sushi restaurant right at the base of Snowmass Ski Resort. The restaurant is lively and fast paced. We are rarely slow during tourist season.

The successful candidate will be passionate about producing excellent food. We are looking for someone with skill and experience, who can help support the Head Chef to improve the quality of our menu and finished product.
Day to Day tasks
- Work the Grill or Sautee station for dinner service. (Most days Head Chef will be working the other station).
- Prep Station prior to dinner service.
- Maintain a clean work space
- Be the Kitchen lead on Head Chefs days off.
- Develop Specials

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Experience:
- Kitchen: 4 years (Required)
- Kitchen management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Asian cuisine: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
