The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Responsibilities Enter financial data and transactionsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredReceive payments, enter receiptsVerify invoices for completeness and accuracyProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableDocument processesPerform month end tasksPhone receptionGeneral office workPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMust have a minimum of two years' experienceBachelor's degree in accounting, finance (preferred)Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial accounting principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in QuickBooks accounting software (Certification a plus and prefered)Highly organized with attention to detailStrong work ethics and the ability to work well with othersAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesWork closely with our management teamExperience in the construction industry a plusEffective communication and interpersonal skills
