Part-time Courier/Accounting Clerk

Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Anchorage. We are looking for a Courier/Accounting Clerk to join the accounting team. The pay is $19.00-$20.00 an hour.

This is an entry-level hybrid position combining courier responsibilities with basic accounting and administrative support. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. In this role, you’ll spend part of your day handling in-town deliveries and document transport, and the rest assisting the Accounting Department with scanning, data entry, and other routine tasks. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an office environment while developing foundational accounting skills.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the Accounting Department — no prior accounting experience required!
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn new software and systems.
• Comfortable using Excel for simple data entry and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance office and courier duties.
• Clear, professional, and friendly communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Safe and responsible driver with knowledge of local routes and use of GPS navigation.
• Ability to maintain accurate delivery logs and handle documents or bank transactions responsibly.
• Willingness to perform basic vehicle checks (fueling, safety inspection, snow removal) to ensure safe and efficient operation.

A good, clean driving record and valid driver's license is required. The required schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm.
