Kendall Capital is a rapidly growing, independent, fee-only Fiduciary advisory firm offering planning and investment services for Middle-Class Millionaires®. While we are located in Rockville, Maryland, we have clients all over the Washington, DC area and across the nation. Our knowledgeable, experienced professionals work with individuals, families and small business owners to provide high-quality advice with high-touch, personal service. We are a Registered Investment Advisor firm, so no FINRA or Insurance licenses are required.
Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual who is passionate about helping others and is willing to learn. This role requires a high level of detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across our firm. Ideally, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with 5 years' experience who has some client-facing experience and enjoys building relationships with clients. There is no requirement to bring a book of business.
This role offers significant opportunities to learn about the financial services industry from a team with decades of experience. The Relationship Manager (that’s what we call Financial Planners) would have the responsibility of managing an existing client base as well as new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Enhance the client experience at Kendall Capital by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and assisting Senior Financial Planners in providing exceptional wealth management for our high-net-worth clientele.
1. Client Service
- Respond timely to day-to-day client inquiries and requests
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients by opening accounts and overseeing asset transfers.
- Monitor client needs throughout the year, conduct review meetings and update financial plans and Investment Policy Statements as needed in order to provide excellent client service and strengthen relationships.
2. Financial Planning
- Gather Data, Analyze and Develop financial plans.
- Conduct client meetings to present financial plans and investment policy statements.
- Oversee and execute annual/on-going wealth management strategies such as Roth IRA determination, Qualified Charitable Distributions and Donor-Advised Fund implementation.
3. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all client interactions and transactions are documented accurately and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards
4. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other team members to provide comprehensive support to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Contribute ideas and energy to continue to improve and grow our firm.
- Support the firm’s marketing efforts by attending marketing and networking events.
Qualifications:
- CFP® designation or candidate for CFP® certification (required)
- College graduate with bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Additional financial planning software experience a plus (MoneyGuidePro, Advisor Engines CRM)
- Customer Service experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
