Description
Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Central Oregon. We are looking for a General Accounting Clerk to join the accounting team. This is a temporary position with the potential of it becoming a permanent position.
Qualifications:
- Accounting experience required
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate user of Excel
- Ability to ten-key by touch
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail an accuracy
- Intermediate accounting knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to prioritize job duties to meet deadlines
Duties & Essential Job Tasks:
- Back up title clerk, assisting in calling banks and out of state DOL as needed.
- Prepare vehicle title and registration documents for DMV processing.
- Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications. Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work. Report to business manager on the status of any missing or problem titles and provide a current list of outstanding titles.
- Reconcile accounts and schedules as directed.
- AR processing, collections, and reconciliation.
- Process car deals and all bank paperwork.
Balance debits and credits for calculations on deals.
Audit deals for accuracy and ensure all data is entered into accounting system correctly.
