RESIDENT CARE AIDE (RCA) ASSISTED LIVING
Schedule:
- Full-Time | 10 Hour Shifts | 10:45pm - 9:15am
- 3 Shifts During The Week and Every Other Weekend
Pay Range: $20.60 - $25.75 per hour, based on date of certification (if applicable) and experience.
About the Role:
The RCA will assist residents in an enhanced assisted living home, promoting and restoring their quality of life through personalized care. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork and effective communication with both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication assistance
- Provide compassionate care to residents with a range of physical and cognitive deficits
- Promote residents' quality of life by delivering nursing care tailored to their individual care plans
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
Qualifications:
- Current NYS certification as a CNA and/or current HHA certification preferred, but not required
- Good communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team
- Experience with medication assistance preferred
- Evening and overnight availability is required
