What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Puller SEASONAL 2 WEEKS position at Kendal Floral Supply LLC?
Florexpo/Kendal Floral, the largest importer of fresh-cut floral products in the United States. We are looking for experienced order pullers for the Gilroy, CA. facility.
SUMMARY
Ensures that all orders are accurately and completely pulled in a time frame which maximizes production efficiency
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pulls orders according to job order in a time frame that maximizes production efficiency.
- Shrink-wraps orders (if needed) to ensure shipment quality and integrity is maintained.
- Processes orders for delivery in a timely manner to ensure orders are ready for drivers.
- Organizes orders by route and stages them in correct location to optimize pre-load operations.
- Organizes racks to maintain efficiency and optimize space.
- Maintains proper rotation of products according to Company standards to ensure optimum quality of all products.
- Ensures working areas are clean, organized, and free of debris to provide a safe environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
The qualified applicant has to possess:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, write and basic math knowledge
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35 degrees).
