Electrical Specialist

Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday - Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm
Rate of Pay: $31.43 - $33.29, based on experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems
• Strong skills in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or general building maintenance preferred
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of oral and written instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk long distances and climb as needed
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 125 lbs
• Comfortable working in various environments and positions
• Adequate vision and hearing (with minor correctable deficiencies allowed)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair:
• • Electrical distribution systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Emergency call systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and repair wiring, panels, circuits, and controls
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ensure all work meets applicable safety codes and regulations
• Provide limited support to mechanical systems (boilers, HVAC, air handling units)
• Assist with electrical components and controls for building systems
• Train or guide others on electrical safety and maintenance practices
