Kendal at Hanover is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community, and home to 400 residents. We have a great part-time opportunity for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. The Life Enrichment Coordinator plans, organizes, and directs medically approved life enrichment programs for residents living in the Health Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Directing, planning, and organizing a variety of life enrichment programs designed to meet individual resident needs by utilizing the residents' life histories, past and present interests, and cognitive and physical functionality
• Supporting nursing staff with meal time assistance when needed
• Providing one on one comfort and companionship to residents
• Assisting in transporting residents using safe techniques to and from programs and during resident outings
• Instructing residents in stretching and limbering exercises, relaxation, and deep breathing techniques.

Position Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have either a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college and one to two years of related experience/training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires you to work on the weekend and holidays. The hours for this position are every Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and every Friday from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
