What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - General position at Kenco Logistics?
Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances and equipment.
Schedule and oversee and 3rd party contractors visiting facility for repairs or maintenance.
Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates and personneldoor access for safe operation.
Maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM)scheduled and log for all buildings and equipment.
Operate battery changing equipment /station for powered industrial equipment.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
Identify and repair faulty equipment.
Comply with all safety requirements
Additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
Min TWO years maintenance and repair experience required. Strong mechanical ability required.
Must pass a background and drug screening.
High School Diploma or equivalent preference.
Attention to detail.
Basic Computer Skills.
