We are seeking a seasoned accounting leader with deep experience operating in large, complex, and globally scaled organizations, including multinational environments with revenues in the billions. This position is a fully on-site role based in our North Canton, Ohio office. Our center offers a welcoming and conveniently located work environment, including a cafeteria with hot meals, a coffee cafe, and gym for employees. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Essential Functions
- Lead the accounting function and teams with a continuous focus on improving policies, processes, procedures, and systems
- Manage the month-end close process including entity consolidations, corporate entries, and the finalization of a monthly trial balance. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with US GAAP.
- Interpret and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual results.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Review and approve financial statements to ensure accuracy of financial information and compliance with US GAAP.
- Review and approve account reconciliations (quarterly, at a minimum).
- Review and approve monthly account fluctuation explanations.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the external auditors to ensure successful completion of annual financial audit.
- Participate in the development of the Company’s strategic and financial planning activities with senior management, including the evaluation and impact of new initiatives and regulatory developments on the business.
- Represent the accounting function in acquisition analysis and acquisition integration.
- Participate in ongoing organizational and individual development within the accounting organization to be able to transform and adapt the accounting organization to the Company’s changing business needs and strategies.
- Builds and enhances a strong accounting team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business.
- Manages and coaches employees to facilitate engagement and professional development. Continually strives to develop talent within the accounting organization to promote individual development.
- Aligns and activates resources to resolve issues and/or take advantage of opportunities arising from organizational change.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation preferred
- 8 years of accounting experience, with experience in a corporate controller role
- Excellent management and leadership skills; able to build effective teams; demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, including the capacity to identify, assess and prioritize competing interests and needs
- Skills and ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing to convey complex concepts clearly and logically
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate discretion
